As the founding member of Lee Engineering’s Albuquerque Office, Paul has served New Mexico communities with traffic engineering services for over 17 years. Mr. Barricklow leads studies and design projects for the Department of Transportation and various municipalities throughout the southwest. Specializing in advanced traffic simulations, such as VISSIM, Mr. Barricklow tackles some of the most challenging transportation and multimodal projects, including major interchange reconstructions, continuous flow intersections, super-streets, rail-signal preemption, and multimodal bicycle/pedestrian facilities. Beyond traffic operations, his expertise also includes ITS design and Safety Studies. Within the ITS realm, he has extensive experience in traffic signal systems, Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures, and fiber optic communication design. He has also led numerous NMDOT On-Calls over the past decade, including Traffic Technical Support, Highway Safety, Regional Transportation Safety, ITS, and Traffic Monitoring.
Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and three lovely daughters. He is also an avid cyclist and enjoys the numerous single-track mountain biking opportunities throughout the southwest.
